What a blessing!! You've decided on a name for your child and want to gather your friends and family to acknowledge this special moment in your life.
During the ceremony, there is an opportunity for the parents of the baby to explain their choice of name and its significance to them. Blessings and prayers can be said during the ceremony acknowledging that your child has entered into our world.
Baby namings can be held in a home, or at a favorite restaurant, outdoor space, community center, etc. I find it's most important for you to be comfortable with a place where the baby can relax and receive lots of hugs and kisses.
I'll work with you to create a beautiful story about your child and the story behind the name, family history, grandparents, aunts, uncles, god parents, etc. This is a wonderful time to celebrate.
I require a contract and deposit to start your ceremony planning. Once I receive your deposit, I will send you a form to fill out to help me write your ceremony. It's a very simple process and it all begins with you.
